སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་གྲངས་དང་མཉམ་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་མཆོད་པ་ལས་ལྷག་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ་བཅུ་དྲུག་ཚང་བའི་
ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་ངེས་འབྱེད་ཆ་མཐུན་གཉིས་པ། རྩེ་མོའི་རྩེ་སྦྱོར་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: The second Mahayana partial concordance with definite discrimination complete with the sixteen thorough increases of merit, such as merit superior to making offerings to Buddhas equalling the number of sentient beings in a billion world-systems.

Eight thorough increases of merit that are mainly external: ཕྱི་གཙོ་བོར་གྱུར་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།

1. Superior to making offerings to Buddhas equalling the number of sentient beings in a billion world-systems སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སེམས་ཅན་གྱིས་སངས་རྒྱས་མཆོད་པ་ལས་ལྷག་པའི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
2. Nature of specifically mentally engaging with the perfection of wisdom
   ཁྱད་པར་དུ་ཤེར་ཕྱིན་ཡིད་ལ་བྱེད་པའི་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
3. Nature of attaining forbearance wrt the superior phenomenon of non-production
   ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འཕགས་པའི་མི་སྐྱེ་བའི་ཆོས་ལ་བཟོད་པ་ཐོབ་པའི་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
4. Characteristic of non-observation of the phenomena that are the enlightenment to be attained and the attainer of enlightenment བྱང་ཆུབ་པར་བྱ་བ་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་མི་དམིགས་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
5. Nature of possessing special roots of virtue ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་གྱི་དགེ་རྩ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
6. Nature of all classes of gods coming close and being guarded by all classes of humans and gods
   ལྷའི་རིས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་ཉེ་བར་འོང་ཞིང་མིའམ་ལྷའི་རིས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་སྲུང་བའི་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
7. Own-entity of overcoming all maras བདུད་ཐམས་ཅད་ཟིལ་གྱིས་གནོན་པའི་རང་གི་ངོ་བོ་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
8. Characteristic of equal abiding wrt the Teacher and beings
   སྟོན་པ་དང་སྐྱེ་བོ་ལ་མཚུངས་པར་གནས་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།

Eight thorough increases of merit that are mainly internal: ནང་གཙོ་བོར་གྱུར་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།

1. Own-entity of thoroughly pure trainings due to skilful means in all aspects
   རྣམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་ཐབས་མཁས་པས་བསླབ་པ་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པའི་རང་གི་ངོ་བོ་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
2. Characteristic of transforming into the nature of Buddhahood
   སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་རང་བཞིན་དུ་འགྱུར་བའི་མཚན་ཉིད་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
3. Nature of the reason for attaining the resultant Buddhahood
   འབྲས་བུ་སངས་རྒྱས་ཉིད་འཐོབ་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱི་བདག་ཉིད་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
4. Nature of not giving rise to minds of the perfection of wisdom's discordant class
   ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པའི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་སེམས་མི་སྐྱེ་བའི་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
5. Own-entity of not giving rise to minds realising as possessing forms and so forth
   གཟུགས་སོགས་དང་ལྡན་པར་རྟོགས་པའི་སེམས་མི་སྐྱེ་བའི་རང་གི་ངོ་བོ་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
6. Characteristic of knowing the summary of all perfection of wisdom
   ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་བསྡུས་པ་ཤེས་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
7. Nature of attaining all excellent collections ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་འཐོབ་པའི་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
8. Nature of nearing perfectly complete enlightenment ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་བྱང་ལ་ཉེ་བར་གྱུར་པའི་རང་བཞིན་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་འཕེལ་བ།
