Qualities of Mahayana applications
རང་ཐོབ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཐབས་སུ་གྱུར་པའི་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་སྦྱོར་བ་བསྒོམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་ཐོབ་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན། ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་སྦྱོར་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A quality attained through the force of cultivating a Mahayana application that is its method of attainment.
སྦྱོར་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ཡིན་ན་ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་སྦྱོར་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་སྦྱོར་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is a quality of an application, it is not pervaded by being a quality of a Mahayana application because the qualities of Hearer applications exist.
Divisions:
- Being blessed by the Buddhas to overcome demons on the occasion of cultivating the applications
སྦྱོར་བ་སྒོམ་པའི་གནས་སྐབས་སུ་བདུད་ཀྱི་མཐུ་བཅོམ་པའི་ཕྱིར་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབས་པ། - Being thought of by the Buddhas in order to generate the ability of the applications
སྦྱོར་བའི་ནུས་པ་སྐྱེད་པའི་དོན་དུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་དགོངས་པ། - Being seen by the Buddhas' exalted wisdom in order to generate their distinguishing features
དེའི་ཁྱད་པར་སྐྱེད་པའི་དོན་དུ་སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས་གཟིགས་པ། - Becoming close to the Tathagatas དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དང་ཉེ་བར་འགྱུར་བ།
- Great beneficial qualities of writing and holding the Mother ཡུམ་བྲིས་ཏེ་བཅངས་པའི་ཕན་ཡོན་ཆེན་པོ།
- Enacting the activities of the Tathagatas དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་བྱ་བ་བྱེད་པ།
- Thoroughly completing the dharma that are antidotes to the two obscurations
སྒྲིབ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་གཉེན་པོའི་ཆོས་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས་པ། - Gaining the explanation of an exalted knower of all aspects from the Tathagatas
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་རྣམས་ལས་རྣམ་མཁྱེན་གྱི་གཏམ་བརྗོད་པ་རྙེད་པ། - Being associated and so forth with the Tathagatas དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དང་འགྲོགས་པ་སོགས།
- Joy in seeking supramundane dharma (correction according to GR)
འཇིག་རྟེན་པའི་ཆོས་འཚོལ་བའི་དགའ་བ་སོགས། - The Tathagatas rejoicing in the promise to enact the welfare of sentient beings
སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་མཛད་པར་དམ་བཅས་པ་ལ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་རྗེས་སུ་ཡི་རང་བར་མཛད་པ། - Strong wish and surpassing belief in the vast and profound dharma
ཆོས་ཟབ་མོ་དང་རྒྱ་ཆེ་བ་མངོན་པར་འདོད་ཅིང་ལྷག་པར་མོས་པ། - Special ability to enact the welfare of sentient beings སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་བྱེད་པའི་ནུས་པ་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན།
- Finding the complete perfection of wisdom despite migrating to another life ཚེ་འཕོས་ཀྱང་ཤེར་ཕྱིན་ཚང་བར་རྙེད་པ།
ཐེག་ཆེན་གྱི་ཚོགས་ལམ་སྐད་ཅིག་གཉིས་པ་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སའི་བར་དུ་ཡོད་དོ།
Boundaries: from the second moment of the Mahayana path of accumulation and up to the Buddha-ground.
