མྱུ་གུ་ཆོས་ཅན། ས་བོན་གྱི་དུས་སུ་མ་འོངས་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ས་བོན་ད་ལྟར་བའི་དུས་སུ་ཁྱོད་སྐྱེ་བཞིན་པ་གང་ཞིག དུས་དེར་ཁྱོད་མ་ཕྱིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - a sprout - it is future at the time of the seed because at the present time of the seed 1) it is presently arising and 2) it has not come.

ས་བོན་ཆོས་ཅན། མྱུ་གུའི་དུས་སུ་འདས་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཁྱོད་མྱུ་གུ་ད་ལྟར་བའི་དུས་སུ་སྐྱེས་ཟིན་འགགས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - a seed - it is past at the time of the sprout because at the present time of the sprout it has already arisen and ceased.

མྱུ་གུ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་མྱུ་གུའི་དུས་སུ་ད་ལྟར་བ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཁྱོད་མྱུ་གུའི་དུས་སུ་སྐྱེས་པ་གང་ཞིག །ཁྱོད་དེར་མ་འགགས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The subject - a sprout - it is present at the time of the sprout because at the time of the sprout 1) it is arisen and 2) it has not ceased.

དུས་གསུམ་གྱི་རྣམ་པར་བཞག་པ་ལ། ད་ལྟར་བ་ཉིད་གཙོ་བོ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
The presentation of the three times is mainly in terms of the present because:

• At the time of the seed, the sprout is posited as future; ས་བོན་གྱི་དུས་སུ་མྱུ་གུ་མ་འོངས་པ་དང༌།
• At the present time of the sprout, the seed is posited as already past;
  མྱུ་གུ་ད་ལྟར་བའི་དུས་སུ་ས་བོན་འདས་ཟིན་པར་གཞག་པར་བྱ་བ་ཡིན་གྱི།
• However, those two are not posited as future and past at the time of their respective present because they only exist at the time of their respective present.
  དེ་གཉིས་རང་རང་གི་ད་ལྟར་བའི་དུས་སུ་མ་འོངས་པ་དང་འདས་པར་གཞག་པར་བྱ་བ་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། རང་རང་གི་ད་ལྟར་བའི་དུས་སུ་དམིགས་པ་ཁོ་ན་ཡིན།
