Ten masteries
རང་གི་བདག་རྐྱེན་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་བསམ་གཏན་གྱི་དངོས་གཞི་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་ཚེའི་འདུ་བྱེད་འདོར་བ་ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་བྱེད་པ་ལ་སོགས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པའི་རིག་པ། འདིར་བསྟན་དབང་གི་ངོ་བོ།
Entity of masteries indicated in this context: A knower abiding in the class distinguished by the functions of discarding one's life in accordance with one's wishes and so forth in dependence upon an actual concentration that is its empowering condition.

- Mastery over lifetime: including the function of discarding one's life in accordance with one's wishes
ཚེའི་འདུ་བྱེད་འདོར་ལེན་ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་བྱེད་པས་བསྡུས་པའི་ཚེ་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over mind: including engaging the mind in concentration in accordance with one's wishes
ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་སེམས་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་ལ་འཇུག་པས་བསྡུས་པའི་སེམས་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over necessities: including the function of sourcing necessities in accordance with one's wishes
བསམ་པ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་ཡོ་བྱད་ཉེ་བར་གནས་པར་བྱེད་པས་བསྡུས་པའི་ཡོ་བྱད་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over actions: including transforming actions of body and speech in accordance with one's wishes
ལུས་ངག་གི་ལས་ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་ཉེ་བར་བསྒྱུར་བས་བསྡུས་པའི་ལས་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over birth: including being born in any migration in accordance with one's wishes
འགྲོ་བ་གང་དུ་ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་སྐྱེ་བས་བསྡུས་པའི་སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over belief: including transforming earth etc. into gold etc. in accordance with one's inclination
ས་སོགས་གསེར་སོགས་ཀྱི་དངོས་པོར་ཇི་ལྟར་མོས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བསྒྱུར་བས་བསྡུས་པའི་མོས་པ་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over prayer: including accomplishing all of one's aspirations
ཇི་ལྟར་མོས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་འགྲུབ་པས་བསྡུས་པའི་སྨོན་ལམ་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over magical emanations: including the clairvoyances
མངོན་ཤེས་ཀྱིས་བསྡུས་པའི་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over exalted wisdom: including actualising exalted wisdom in accordance with one's wishes
ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་ཡེ་ཤེས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པས་བསྡུས་པའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ལ་དབང་བ། - Mastery over dharma: including the ability to teach the twelve branches of scripture in accordance with one's wishes གསུང་རབ་ཡན་ལག་བཅུ་གཉིས་ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་སྟོན་ནུས་པས་བསྡུས་པའི་ཆོས་ལ་དབང་བ།
Boundaries: from the eighth ground.
དང་པོ་གསུམ་པོ་དེ་སྦྱིན་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ལོངས་སྤྱོད་བྱིན་པས་ཚེའི་རྒྱུར་གྱུར་པ་དང་།
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པས་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་བསམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་སེམས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་གཙོ་བོར་འཇུག་པ་དང་། བསམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ཡོ་བྱད་སྦྱིན་པས་དེ་གསུམ་འབྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
The first three are the results of generosity because:
- Giving away things becomes the cause of life
- Tathagatas mainly engage in the welfare of sentient beings as they wish following the mind
- Give necessities in accordance with one's wishes
ལས་དང་སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་དབང་བ་གཉིས་ནི་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡིན་ཏེ།
སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ལུས་ངག་གི་ལས་སྐྱོན་མེད་པ་ལ་བསམ་པ་བཞིན་དུ་བསྐུལ་བ་དང་ཚུལ་ལྡན་གྱིས་སྨོན་ལམ་འགྲུབ་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The masteries over actions and birth are the results of ethics because of intentionally motivating sentient beings in faultless actions of body and speech, as well as accomplishing proper prayers.
མོས་པ་ལ་དབང་བ་བཟོད་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡིན་ཏེ། སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་མོས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཞུགས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The mastery of belief is the result of patience because of having engaged according to the inclinations of sentient beings.
སྨོན་ལམ་ལ་དབང་བ་ནི། བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡིན་ཏེ། སྔོན་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དོན་དུ་བརྩོན་པ་མ་བཏང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
The mastery of prayer is the result of joyous effort because of having previously put effort for the welfare of sentient beings.
རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་ལ་དབང་བ་བསམ་གཏན་གྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡིན་ཏེ། སྔོན་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་དགོངས་པ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་མཉམ་པར་བཞག་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The mastery of magical emanation is the result of concentration because of having previously entered absorptions in accordance with the thought of sentient beings.
ཐ་མ་གཉིས་ཡུམ་གྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ཡིན་ཏེ། སྔོན་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ཡེ་ཤེས་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པ་དང་འདོད་པ་དང་མཐུན་པར་མདོ་སོགས་ལ་སྦྱར་བའི་ཕྱིར།
The last two are the result of the Mother because of actualising exalted wisdom in accordance with the wishes of sentient beings and connecting with the sutra and so forth in accordance with their wishes.
