Ten strengths
རང་གི་བདག་རྐྱེན་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་རབ་མཐའི་བསམ་གཏན་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་རང་གི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཟིལ་གྱིས་གནོན་ནུས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་མཐར་ཐུག་གི་མཁྱེན་པ།
སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A final exalted knower distinguished by being able to outshine its discordant class in dependence upon the final concentration that is its empowering condition.
Divisions:
- Body སྐུའི་སྟོབས།
- The Tathagata's body possesses the strength of Nārāyaṇa
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་སྐུ་ལ་སྲེད་མེད་ཀྱི་བུའི་སྟོབས་མངའ་བ།
- The Tathagata's body possesses the strength of Nārāyaṇa
- Speech གསུང་གི་སྟོབས།
- The Tathagatas possess the sixty branches of melodious speech
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ལ་གསུང་དབྱངས་ཡན་ལག་དྲུག་ཅུ་མངའ་བ།
- The Tathagatas possess the sixty branches of melodious speech
- Mind ཐུགས་ཀྱི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing sources and non-sources གནས་དང་གནས་མིན་པ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing the fruitions of actions ལས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing the various dispositions མོས་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་པ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing the manifold world-systems འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་དུ་མ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing supreme and non-supreme faculties དབང་པོ་མཆོག་དང་མཆོག་མ་ཡིན་པ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing the paths proceeding to all ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་འགྲོ་བའི་ལམ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing the thoroughly afflicted and completely pure ཀུན་ནས་ཉོན་མོངས་པ་དང་རྣམ་པར་བྱང་བ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Remembering previous states སྔོན་གྱི་གནས་རྗེས་སུ་དྲན་པ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing death, transference and birth འཆི་འཕོ་དང་སྐྱེ་བ་མཁྱེན་པའི་སྟོབས།
- Knowing the exhaustion of contamination ཟག་པ་ཟད་པ་ཤེས་པའི་སྟོབས།
རང་གི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱིས་བརྫི་བར་མི་ནུས་པ་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་གྱི་རྡོ་རྗེ་དང་འདྲ་བའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་གྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་བརྗོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
Etymology: Since it cannot be oppressed by its discordant class, like the Vajra of Shakra.
- First six: Since they are able to destroy the knowledge obscurations, like the armour of the Asuras
དེས་ལྷ་མིན་གྱི་གོ་ཆ་དང་འདྲ་བའི་ཤེས་བྱའི་སྒྲིབ་པ་འཇོམས་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར། - Next three: Since they are able to destroy the obscurations to meditative absorption, like a wall
དེ་གསུམ་གྱིས་རྩིགས་པ་དང་འདྲ་བའི་སྙོམས་འཇུག་གི་སྒྲིབ་པ་འཇོམས་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར། - Last one: Since it is able to destroy the afflictive obscurations, like a tree
