Wisdom

ཆོས་རབ་ཏུ་རྣམ་འབྱེད་ཀྱི་རིག་པ། སྦྱིན་སོགས་དྲུག་གི་ཟླས་ཕྱེ་བའི་ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ།
Entity (in relation to six perfections): A knower that thoroughly discriminates phenomena.

Divisions:

1. Wisdom knowing conventionalities ཀུན་རྫོབ་ཤེས་པའི་ཤེས་རབ།
2. Wisdom knowing the ultimate དོན་དམ་ཤེས་པའི་ཤེས་རབ།
3. Wisdom enacting the welfare of sentient beings སེམས་ཅན་དོན་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཤེས་རབ་རྣམས་སུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།

བྱང་སེམས་འཕགས་པའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་ཤེས་རབ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱད་ཆོས་གསུམ་དང་ལྡན་ཏེ།
The subject - the wisdom in the continuum of an Arya Bodhisattva - it possesses three distinguishing features:

1. Acting to eliminate faulty wisdom (its discordant class) རང་གི་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཤེས་རབ་འཆལ་བ་འཇོམས་པར་བྱེད།
2. Conjoined with the exalted wisdom of not conceiving a self of phenomena (its assistant)
   གྲོགས་བསོད་ནམས་ཀྱི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་ཟིན།
3. Ripening sentient beings by way of mastering the fields of knowledge and practicing listening and contemplation (its function)
   བྱེད་ལས་རིག་པའི་གནས་རྣམས་ལ་མཁས་པར་བྱས་ཏེ་ཐོས་བསམ་གྱིས་སྤྱོད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་སེམས་ཅན་སྨིན་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཁྱད་ཆོས་དང་ལྡན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
