Causal relationship

ཆོས་དེ་དང་རྫས་ཐ་དད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཆོས་དེའི་འབྲས་བུའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པ། ཆོས་དེ་དང་དེ་བྱུང་འབྲེལ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of being in a causal relationship with a phenomenon: That abiding in the class of being the result of that phenomenon by way of being a different substance from that phenomenon.

མཚན་གཞི་ཡོད་དེ། དངོས་པོའི་ཕྱི་ལོགས་སུ་བྱུང་བ་རྣམས་དངོས་པོ་དང་དེ་བྱུང་འབྲེལ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
e.g. subsequently arising [moments] of functioning thing are in a causal relationship with functioning thing.

དངོས་རྒྱུ་ཚོགས་པ་ཚར་གཅིག་ལ་རག་ལས་ཀྱི་འབྲལ་བ། དཔེར་ན་བུ་རམ་གྱི་རོ་གཟུགས་གཉིས་ལྟ་བུ།
Relationship of dependence upon a single collection of direct causes
For example, the taste and form of molasses: their existence is mutually pervasive (ཡོད་ཁྱབ་མཉམ།) and so are their direct causes.
