Contaminated and uncontaminated

Abhidharmakosha: When established base is divided, there are:

Contaminated: A phenomenon that is suitable to increase contamination or afflictions through either observation or concomitance.
དམིགས་པ་དང་མཚུངས་ལྡན་གང་རུང་གི་སྒོ་ནས་ཟག་པའམ་ཉོན་མོངས་རྒྱས་སུ་རུང་བའི་ཆོས། ཟག་བཅས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།

Uncontaminated: A phenomenon that is not suitable to increase contamination through either observation or concomitance.

Abhidharmasamuccaya: Six doors of contamination

For Madhyamaka:

Contaminations refers to the the afflictions ཉོན་མོངས་ལ་ཟག་པ་བྱས་ནས།
Contaminated is in the context of not having abandoned the afflictions ཉོང་མོངས་མ་སྤངས་པའི་སྐབས་སུ་ཟག་བཅས།
Uncontaminated is in the context of having abandoned the afflictions ཉོན་མོངས་སྤངས་པའི་སྐབས་སུ་ཟག་མེད།

Chandrakirti (Clear Words):

Contaminated: Consciousnesses affected by the imprints of the apprehension of true existence
བདེན་འཛིན་བག་ཆགས་ཀྱིས་སླད་པའི་ཤེས་པ་ནི་ཟག་བཅས།
i.e. with an appearance of true establishment
Uncontaminated: Consciousnesses not affected by those དེས་མ་སླད་པའི་ཤེས་པ་ནི་ཟག་མེད།
i.e. only direct realisation of emptiness
