Other-exclusion

བློ་དོན་མཐུན་ལ་རང་གི་རྣམ་པ་འཆར་བའི་ཚེ། དེ་མ་ཡིན་པ་བསལ་བའི་རྣམ་པ་ཅན་དུ་འཆར་བ་དེ། གཞན་སེལ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That which appears as possessing the aspect of eliminating that which is not that when its aspect appears to a factually concordant awareness.

གཞན་སེལ་དང་དགག་པ་དོན་གཅིག
Other-exclusion and negation are mutually inclusive.

བློ་དོན་མཐུན་ལ་རང་གི་རྣམ་པ་འཆར་བའི་ཚེ། དགག་པའི་རྣམ་པ་ཅན་དུ་འཆར་བ། དགག་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of negation (Pramana): That which appears as possessing the aspect of a negation when its aspect appears to a factually concordant awareness.

Divisions:

1. Other-exclusions that are non-implicative negations མེད་དགག་གི་གཞན་སེལ།
   Mutually inclusive with: Non-implicative negation
2. Other-exclusions that are implicative negations མ་ཡིན་དགག་གི་གཞན་སེལ།
   Mutually inclusive with: Implicative negation

Division into three:

1. Specifically characterised object other-exclusion དོན་རང་མཚན་གྱི་གཞན་སེལ།
2. Awareness other-exclusion བློའི་གཞན་སེལ།
3. Other-exclusions that are non-implicative negations མེད་དགག་གི་གཞན་སེལ།
