བློས་རིག་པར་བྱ་བ། ཡུལ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད་དུ་འཇོག
Definition: That which is known by awareness.
Division:
- Appearing object སྣང་ཡུལ།
- Apprehended object གཟུང་ཡུལ།
- Determined object ཞེན་ཡུལ།
- Engaged object འཇུག་ཡུལ།
- Object of the mode of apprehension འཛིན་སྟངས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ།
བློ་དེའི་སྣང་ཡུལ་དང་བློ་དེའི་གཟུང་ཡུལ་དོན་གཅིག
An awareness's appearing object and apprehended object are mutually inclusive.
གཞི་གྲུབ་ན་སྣང་ཡུལ་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ་སྟེ།
དངོས་པོ་ཡིན་ན་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་སྣང་ཡུལ་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ་པ་གང་ཞིག རྟག་པ་ཡིན་ན། རྟོག་པའི་སྣང་ཡུལ་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is an established-basis, it is pervaded by being an appearing object because:
- If it is a functioning thing, it is pervaded by being the appearing object of Direct perceivers
དང་པོ་གྲུབ་སྟེ། མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་སྣང་ཡུལ། གཟུང་ཡུལ། དངོས་པོ་རྣམས་དོན་གཅིག་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར། - If it is permanent, it is pervaded by being the appearing object of conceptual consciousness
གཉིས་པ་གྲུབ་སྟེ། རྟོག་པའི་སྣང་ཡུལ། གཟུང་ཡུལ། རྟག་པ་རྣམས་དོན་གཅིག་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
The first is established because direct perceivers' appearing object, apprehended object, and functioning thing are mutually inclusive.
The second is established because conceptual consciousnesses' appearing object, apprehended object, and functioning thing are mutually inclusive.
མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་འཇུག་ཡུལ་དང་མངོན་སུམ་གྱི་འཛིན་སྟངས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་དོན་གཅིག
A direct perceiver's engaged object and object of the mode of apprehension are mutually inclusive.
རྟོག་པའི་ཞེན་ཡུལ། འཇུག་ཡུལ། དེའི་འཛིན་སྟངས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་རྣམས་དོན་གཅིག
A conceptual consciousness's determined object, engaged object, and object of the mode of apprehension are mutually inclusive.
གཞི་གྲུབ་ན། རྟོག་པ་དང་རྟོག་མེད་ཀྱི་ཤེས་པ་གཉིས་ཀའི་འཛིན་སྟངས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ་བོ།
If it is an established base, it is established by being the object of the mode of apprehension of both conceptual and non-conceptual consciousnesses.
