Subsequent cognisers

རྟོགས་ཟིན་རྟོགས་པའི་རིག་པ། དཔྱད་ཤེས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A knower realising what has already been realised.

Divisions:

1. Direct perceivers མངོན་སུམ་དཔྱད་ཤེས།
   1. Sense direct perceivers
      e.g. Second moment of a sense direct perceiver apprehending blue
      སྔོན་འཛིན་དབང་མངོན་སྐད་ཅིག་གཉིས་པ།
   2. Mental direct perceivers
      e.g. Second moment of a clairvoyance knowing other's mind
      གཞན་སེམས་ཤེས་པའི་མངོན་ཤེས་སྐད་ཅིག་གཉིས་པ།
   3. Self-knowing direct perceivers
      e.g. Second moment of a self-knowing direct perceiver experiencing an eye consciousness
      མིག་ཤེས་སོགས་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བའི་རང་རིག་མངོན་སུམ་སྐད་ཅིག་གཉིས་པ།
   4. Yogic direct perceivers
      e.g. Second moment of the uninterrupted path of the path of seeing
      མཐོང་ལམ་བར་ཆད་མེད་ལམ་སྐད་ཅིག་གཉིས་པ།
   5. None of the above
      e.g. Second moment of a direct perceiver
      མངོན་སུམ་སྐད་ཅིག་གཉིས་པ།
2. Conceptual རྟོག་པ་དཔྱད་ཤེས།
   1. Conceptual consciousness induced by a direct perceiver མངོན་སུམ་གྱིས་དྲངས་པའི་རྟོག་པ་དཔྱད་ཤེས།
      e.g. Factually concordant ascertaining consciousness ascertaining blue that was induced by sense direct perceiver apprehending blue
      སྔོན་འཛིན་དབང་མངོན་གྱིས་དྲངས་པའི་སྔོན་པོ་ངེས་པའི་ངེས་ཤེས་དོན་མཐུན།
   2. Conceptual consciousness induced by an inferential cogniser རྗེས་དཔག་གིས་དྲངས་པའི་རྟོག་པ་དཔྱད་ཤེས།
      e.g. Second moment of an inferential cogniser realising sound is impermanent
      སྒྲ་མི་རྟག་རྟོགས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་དཔག་སྐད་ཅིག་གཉིས་པ།
3. Neither of those two དེ་གཉིས་གང་རུང་མ་ཡིན་པར་གྱུར་པའི་དཔྱད་ཤེས།
