Wrong consciousness

རང་ཡུལ་ལ་ཕྱིན་ཅི་ལོག་ཏུ་ཞུགས་པའི་རིག་པ། ལོག་ཤེས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A knower that erroneously engages its object.

Divisions:

Conceptual རྟོག་པ་ལོག་ཤེས། (= wrong conception ལོག་རྟོག)
e.g. Conception apprehending sound as permanent and conception apprehending rabbit horns
སྒྲ་རྟག་འཛིན་རྟོག་པ་དང་། རི་བོང་རྭ་འཛིན་རྟོག་པ།
Non-conceptual རྟོག་མེད་ལོག་ཤེས།
1. Mental consciousness ཡིད་ཤེས།
  e.g. Dream-consciousness to which dream-blue clearly appears as blue
  རྨི་ལམ་གྱི་སྔོན་པོ་སྔོན་པོར་གསལ་བར་སྣང་བའི་རྨི་ལམ་གྱི་ཤེས་པ།
  This is a mental consciousness, a non-conceptual consciousness, and a wrong consciousness; but from the perspective of the person dreaming it is a factually concordant sense consciousness.
2. Sense consciousness དབང་ཤེས།
  e.g. Sense consciousness to which snow mountains appear blue and sense consciousness to which a white conch appears yellow.
  གངས་རི་སྔོན་པོར་སྣང་བའི་དབང་ཤེས་དང་། དུང་དཀར་སེར་པོར་སྣང་བའི་དབང་ཤེས།
