རྟགས་ཡང་དག་ལ་རྒོལ་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་དབྱེ་ན།

1. Correct sign for oneself རང་དོན་སྐབས་ཀྱི་རྟགས་ཡང་དག
2. Correct sign for others གཞན་དོན་སྐབས་ཀྱི་རྟགས་ཡང་དག

ཁྱོད་སྒྲ་མི་རྟག་པར་སྒྲུབ་པའི་རྟགས་ཡང་དག་ཀྱང་ཡིན། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རྟགས་ཀྱིས་དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཕྱི་རྒོལ་ཡང་དག་མེད་པ་ཡང་ཡིན་པའི་གཞི་མཐུན་པ། དང་པོའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of the first: That which is the common locus of:

1. x being a correct sign in the proof that sound is impermanent; and
2. there being no opponent in the proof of that using the sign "x"

སྔ་རྒོལ་རང་གིས་རང་ཉིད་ལ་བྱས་པ་སྒྲ་མི་རྟག་པར་སྒྲུབ་པའི་རྟགས་སུ་བཀོད་དེ་སྒྲུབ་པའི་ཚེ། བྱས་པ་སྒྲ་མི་རྟག་པར་སྒྲུབ་པའི་རང་དོན་སྐབས་ཀྱི་རྟགས་ཡང་དག་ཡིན།
When the defender states to themselves the sign "product" in the proof that sound is impermanent, then "product" is a correct sign for oneself in the proof that sound is impermanent.

ཁྱོད་དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་རྟགས་ཡང་དག་ཀྱང་ཡིན། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རྟགས་ཀྱིས་དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཕྱི་རྒོལ་ཡང་དག་ཡོད་པ་ཡང་ཡིན་པའི་གཞི་མཐུན་པ། གཉིས་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
