   རྟགས་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ་ལ་ཐེ་ཚོམ་ཟོས་ནས་མ་གྲུབ་པའི་གཏན་ཚིགས།
   For a person for whom a meat-eater is a suprasensory object: The subject - sound - it is impermanent because meat-eaters are a cognised-object of valid cognition.
   ཤ་ཟ་བསྐལ་དོན་དུ་སོང་བའི་གང་ཟག་གི་ངོར། སྒྲ་ཆོས་ཅན། མི་རྟག་སྟེ། ཤ་ཟ་ཚད་མའི་གཞལ་བྱ་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།

   ཆོས་ཅན་གྱི་ངོ་བོ་ལ་ཐེ་ཚོམ་ཟོས་ནས་མ་གྲུབ་པའི་གཏན་ཚིགས།
   For a person for whom a smell-eater is a suprasensory object: The subject - a smell-eater's singing - it is impermanent because of being a product.
   དྲི་ཟ་བསྐལ་དོན་དུ་སོང་བའི་གང་ཟག་གི་ངོར། དྲི་ཟའི་གླུ་དབྱངས་ཆོས་ཅན། མི་རྟག་སྟེ། བྱས་པའི་ཕྱིར།

   གཞི་རྟགས་ཀྱི་འབྲེལ་བ་ལ་ཐེ་ཚོམ་ཟོས་ནས་མ་གྲུབ་པའི་གཏན་ཚིགས།
   For a person who doesn't know where peacocks live: The subject - in the middle of three ravines - a peacock exists because a peacock's call exists.
   རྨ་བྱ་གང་ན་ཡོད་མ་ཤེས་པའི་གང་ཟག་གི་ངོར། རི་སུལ་གསུམ་གྱི་དབུས་ན་ཆོས་ཅན། རྨ་བྱ་ཡོད་དེ། རྨ་བྱས་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་པ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།

   ཤེས་འདོད་ཆོས་ཅན་མེད་ནས་མ་གྲུབ་པའི་གཏན་ཚིགས།
   For the Glorious Dharmakirti: The subject - sound is impermanent because of being a product.
   དཔལ་ལྡན་ཆོས་གྲགས་ཀྱི་ངོར། སྒྲ་ཆོས་ཅན། མི་རྟག་སྟེ། བྱས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
   Because he already knows; therefore no "wishing to know" the thesis; therefore no subject.
