Property of the probandum

བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་སུ་བཟུང་བ། བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That held to be the property of the probandum.

བདག་མེད་ཡིན་ན། བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ་སྟེ། བདག་མེད་ཡིན་ན། ཁྱོད་སྒྲ་ཁྱོད་དུ་སྒྲུབ་པའི་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་ཡིན་པས་ཁྱབ་པའི་ཕྱིར།
If it is selfless, then it is pervaded by being a property of the probandum; because if it is selfless, then it is pervaded by being the property of the probandum in the proof of sound as it.

དེས་ན་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་ཡིན་ན། ཆོས་ཡིན་པས་མ་ཁྱབ་བོ།
Therefore, if it is a property of the probandum, it is not necessarily a phenomenon.

Divisions:

1. Explicit property of the probandum དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་དངོས་ཀྱི་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས།
   Definition: That held to be the explicit property of the probandum in the proof of that
   དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་དངོས་ཀྱི་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་སུ་བཟུང་བ།
2. Implicit property of the probandum དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཤུགས་ཀྱི་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས།
   Definition: That held to be the implicit property of the probandum in the proof of that
   དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཤུགས་ཀྱི་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་སུ་བཟུང་བ།

e.g. impermanent and opposite from non-impermanent མི་རྟག་པ་དང་མི་རྟག་པ་མ་ཡིན་པ་ལས་ལོག་པ་ལྟ་བུ།

For example:

• The subject - impermanent - it is the explicit property of the probandum in the proof that sound is impermanent because of being that definition.
  མི་རྟག་པ་ཆོས་ཅན། ཁྱོད་སྒྲ་མི་རྟག་པར་སྒྲུབ་པའི་དངོས་ཀྱི་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་ཡིན་ཏེ། མཚན་ཉིད་དེའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།
• The subject - momentary - it is not the explicit property of the probandum in the proof that sound is impermanent because of being a correct sign in the proof of that.
  སྐད་ཅིག་མ་ཆོས་ཅན། སྒྲ་མི་རྟག་པར་སྒྲུབ་པའི་དངོས་ཀྱི་བསྒྲུབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེ་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་རྟགས་ཡང་དག་ཡིན་པའི་ཕྱིར།
