Sautrantika

རང་རིག་དང་ཕྱི་དོན་གཉིས་ཀ་ཁས་ལེན་པའི་ཐེག་དམན་གྱི་གྲུབ་མཐའ་སྨྲ་བའི་གང་ཟག་དེ། མདོ་སྡེ་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: A person propounding Hinayana tenets who asserts both self-knowers and external objects.

མདོ་སྡེ་པ་དང་དཔེ་སྟོན་པ་དོན་གཅིག
Sautrantika and Darstantika are mutually inclusive.

Divisions:

1. Followers of Faith ལུང་གི་རྗེས་འབྲང་གི་མདོ་སྡེ་པ། (e.g. Abhidharmakosha)
2. Followers of Reasoning རིགས་པའི་རྗེས་འབྲང་གི་མདོ་སྡེ་པ། (e.g. Seven Treatises on Pramana)

དོན་དམ་པར་དོན་བྱེད་ནུས་པའི་ཆོས་དེ། དོན་དམ་བདེན་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of Ultimate Truth: A phenomenon that able to ultimately perform a function.

དོན་དམ་པར་དོན་བྱེད་མི་ནུས་པའི་ཆོས། ཀུན་རྫོབ་བདེན་པའི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition of Conventional Truth: A phenomenon that is not able to ultimately perform a function.
