Grounds and paths in the three lower tantras

Path of Accumulation: ཚོགས་ལམ།

• Start: Having obtained a pure empowerment, inducing an uncontrived experience in the mind promising "I will attain Buddhahood through the path of this tantra!"
  དབང་རྣམ་པར་དག་པ་ཐོབ་སྟེ་རྒྱུད་འདིའི་ལམ་གྱིས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཐོབ་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་དམ་བཅའ་བའི་བློ་ལ་བཅོས་མིན་གྱི་མྱོང་བ་ཐོན་པ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ།
• Up to: Prior to attaining special insight realising emptiness through the force of cultivating the concentration bestowing liberation at the limit of sound.
  སྒྲ་མཐར་ཐར་པ་སྟེར་བའི་བསམ་གཏན་བསྒོམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་སྟོང་ཉིད་རྟོགས་པའི་ལྷག་མཐོང་མ་ཐོབ་ཚུན་ཆད།

Path of Preparation: འབྱོར་ལམ།

• Start: From having attained such a special insight. དེའི་ལྷག་མཐོང་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ།
• Up to: Prior to directly realising emptiness through the force of cultivating that concentration.
  བསམ་གཏན་དེ་ཉིད་བསྒོམ་པའི་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་སྟོང་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་མ་རྟོགས་ཚུན་ཆད།

Path of Seeing: མཐོང་ལམ།

• Start: That concentration directly realising emptiness. བསམ་གཏན་དེས་སྟོང་ཉིད་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་རྟོགས་པ་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ།
• Up to: Prior to giving rise to the direct antidote to the great of the great afflictions that are objects of abandonment of the path of meditation. སྒོམ་སྤང་ཉོན་མོངས་ཆེན་པོའི་ཆེན་པོའི་དངོས་གཉེན་མ་སྐྱེས་ཚུན་ཆད།

Path of Meditation: སྒོམ་ལམ།

• Start: From the concentration bestowing liberation at the limit of sound that is the direct antidote to the great of the great afflictions that are objects of abandonment of the path of meditation.
  སྒོམ་སྤང་ཉོན་མོངས་ཆེན་པོའི་ཆེན་པོའི་དངོས་གཉེན་དུ་གྱུར་པའི་སྒྲ་མཐའི་བསམ་གཏན་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ།
• Up to: Just before attaining enlightenment. འཚང་རྒྱ་ཁ་མའི་བར།

Path of No More Learning མི་སློབ་ལམ།

• The paths having attained Buddhahood through the path of this tantra.
  རྒྱུད་འདིའི་ལམ་གྱིས་སངས་རྒྱས་པའི་ལམ་རྣམས།
