Chandrakirti

སྐྱབས་འགྲོ་བདུན་ཅུ་པ་ལས།
སངས་རྒྱས་དེའི་ཆོས་དགེ་འདུན་ནི། ཐར་པ་འདོད་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྐྱབས།
From Seventy Verses on Refuge:
The Buddha, his Dharma, and the Sangha
Are the refuge for those seeking liberation.

དབུ་མ་འཇུག་པ་ལས།
From Supplement to the Middle Way:

ཉན་ཐོས་སངས་རྒྱས་འབྲིང་རྣམས་ཐུབ་དབང་སྐྱེས། སངས་རྒྱས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལས་འཁྲུངས་ཤིང་།
སྙིང་རྗེའི་སེམས་དང་གཉིས་སུ་མེད་བློ་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ནི་རྒྱལ་སྲས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ།
Hearers and Middling Buddhas are born from Subduers;
Buddhas are born from bodhisattvas;
The mind of compassion, the non-dual awareness, and
Bodhicitta are the cause of Conqueror Children. [v1.1]

གང་ཕྱིར་བརྩེ་ཉིད་རྒྱལ་བའི་ལོ་ཐོག་ཕུན་ཚོགས་འདིའི། ས་བོན་དང་ནི་སྤེལ་ལ་ཆུར་འདྲ་ཡུན་རིང་དུ།
ལོངས་སྤྱོད་གནས་ལ་སྨིན་པ་ལྟ་བུར་འདོད་གྱུར་པ། དེ་ཕྱིར་བདག་གིས་ཐོག་མར་སྙིང་རྗེ་བསྟོད་པར་བགྱི།
Since compassion itself is asserted to be like the seed
Of a Conqueror’s marvellous harvest, the water for its growth,
And its ripening in a state of long term enjoyment,
For that reason, in the beginning I praise compassion. [v1.2]

དང་པོར་ང་ཞེས་བདག་ལ་ཞེན་གྱུར་ཅིང༌། བདག་གིས་འདི་ཞེས་དངོས་ལ་ཆགས་བསྐྱེད་པ།
ཟོ་ཆུན་འཕྱན་ལྟར་རང་དབང་མེད་པ་ཡི། འགྲོ་ལ་སྙིང་རྗེར་གྱུར་གང་དེ་ལ་འདུད།
First, there is adherence to a self, “I”,
Then one generates attachment to things, “this is mine”;
I bow down to compassion for migrators
Who are powerless, like a water-wheel. [v1.3]

ཡོན་ཏན་མ་ལུས་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་རྗེས་འགྲོ་ཞིང་། བསོད་ནམས་བློ་གྲོས་ཚོགས་ནི་གཉིས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ།
All qualities follow joyous effort;
It is the cause of the two collections: merit and intelligence.

གཏི་མུག་རང་བཞིན་སྒྲིབ་ཕྱིར་ཀུན་རྫོབ་སྟེ། དེས་གང་བཅོས་མ་བདེན་པར་སྣང་དེ་ནི།
ཀུན་རྫོབ་བདེན་ཞེས་ཐུབ་པ་དེས་གསུངས་ཏེ། བཅོས་མར་གྱུར་པའི་དངོས་ནི་ཀུན་རྫོབ་ཏུའོ།
Ignorance, due to obscuring the nature, is a concealer;
Fabrications appear as truths due to that.
The Subduer taught them to be “truths for concealers”
Fabricated things are conventionally [existent].

མཚན་མ་མེད་པ་མ་རྟོགས་པར། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཐར་པ་མེད་པར་གསུངས།
Without realising signlessness
There is no liberation, you said. (Reply to: Bhavaviveka quote in Shantideva)

ཀུན་རྫོབ་དེ་ཉིད་གཤོག་ཡངས་དཀར་པོ་རྒྱས་གྱུར་པ། ངང་པའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་ནི་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ངང་པ་ཡིས།
མདུན་དུ་བདར་ནས་དགེ་བའི་རླུང་གི་ཤུགས་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས། རྒྱལ་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཕ་རོལ་མཆོག་ཏུ་འགྲོ།
That king of swans who spreads his vast white wings - the conventional and suchness -
Is ushered forward by ordinary swans and
Through the force of the wind of virtue
Proceeds to the supreme far shore of the ocean of a Conqueror's qualities. [6.226]
