Pramanavartika

From Dharmakirti's Pramanavartika: ཚད་མ་རྣམ་འགྲེལ་ལས། རྣམ་འགྲེལ་ལས།

བྱམས་སོགས་རྨོངས་དང་འགལ་མེད་ཕྱིར། ཤིན་ཏུ་ཉེས་པ་ཚར་གཅོད་མིན།
Love and so forth, due to not opposing obscuration
Do not completely eliminate the faults.

གསལ་སྣང་ཡོད་ཕྱིར་དེ་འདྲའི་བློ། ཅི་ལྟར་མངོན་སུམ་ཡིན་པར་འགྱུར།
Due to having clear appearances, such an awareness
Comes to be a direct perceiver.

གཙོ་བོའི་དོན་ལ་མི་བསླུའི་ཕྱིར། གཞན་ལ་རྗེས་སུ་དཔག་པ་ཡིན།
Due to being non-deceptive with respect to the main meaning,
It is extrapolated to the others.

དེ་ཕྱིར་མི་རྟག་ལས་སྡུག་བསྔལ། སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལས་ནི་བདག་མེད་གསུངས།
Therefore, it is said that from impermanence, suffering,
And from suffering, selflessness.

འགྲིབ་དང་ཕུལ་བྱུང་སྲིད་པར་འཇུག །མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་དང་བཅས་ཉིད་ཕྱིར།
།དེ་གོམས་པ་ལ་བདག་འགྱུར་བས། །ལ་ལར་ཟག་པ་ཟད་པར་འགྱུར།
Obscuration and excellence engage in existence,
Due to being together with the discordant class;
Through familiarity with that, the nature is transformed
And contamination in some will be exhausted.

མ་ཚང་མེད་རྒྱུ་དེ་ལ་ནི། །འབྲས་བུ་གང་གིས་ཟློག་པར་བྱེད།
For a cause that is not incomplete
There is no overturning its result by anything.
