Uttaratantra

ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐུ་ལས་མ་གཡོས་པར། སྤྲུལ་པའི་རང་བཞིན་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས།
སྐྱེ་བ་མངོན་པར་སྐྱེ་བ་དང་། དགའ་ལྡན་གནས་ནས་འཕོ་བ་དང་།
Without wavering from the Dharmakaya,
[Benefitting] through manifold manifestations;
Taking a superior birth [in Tushita,]
And descending from Tushita.

དེ་ལྟར་ཡིད་ཆེས་ལུང་དང་རིགས་པ་ལ། བརྟེན་ནས་བདག་ཉིད་འབའ་ཞིག་དག་ཕྱིར་དང་།
གང་དག་མོས་དགེ་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་ལྡན་བློ། དེ་དག་རྗེས་སུ་བཟུང་ཕྱིར་འདི་བཤད་དོ།
In this way, depending on trustworthy scriptures and reasoning,
I have explained this [Treatise] just for my own purification
And in order to take care of those
With faith [in this Dharma] and excellent virtue.

རྫོགས་སངས་སྐུ་ནི་འཕྲོ་ཕྱིར་དང༌། དེ་གཞིན་ཉིད་དབྱེར་མེད་ཕྱིར་དང༌།
རིགས་ཡོད་ཕྱིར་ན་ལུས་ཅན་ཀུན། རྟག་ཏུ་སངས་རྒྱས་སྙིང་པོ་ཅན།
Because a perfect buddha's body is pervasive,
Because suchness is without differentiation, and
Because the lineage exists, all embodied beings
Are always in possession of the buddha essence.

རིན་ཆེན་ནམ་མཁའ་ཆུ་དག་བཞིན། རྟག་ཏུ་རང་བཞིན་ཉོན་མོངས་མེད།
Like treasure, the sky, and water are pure,
The nature is always without afflictions.

འཕགས་པས་འཆི་དང་ན་བ་དང༌། རྒ་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྩད་ནས་སྤངས།
ལས་དང་ཉོན་མོངས་དབང་གིས་སྐྱེ། དེ་ལ་དེ་མེད་ཕྱིར་དེ་མེད།
[Bodhisattva] Aryas have abandoned from the root
The suffering of death, sickness and ageing.
Rebirth through the force of karma and afflictions
Does not exist for those [Aryas], thus they do not have [the suffering of samsara].

ས་བདུན་ལ་བརྟེན་དྲི་མ་ནི། མངལ་སྦུབས་དྲི་མ་དག་དང་མཚུངས།
The stains supported on the seven grounds
Are similar to the stains of the womb.

ནད་ནི་ཤེས་བྱ་ནད་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་ནི་སྤང་བྱ་ལ། བདེ་གནས་ཐོབ་བྱ་སྨན་ནི་བསྟེན་པར་བྱ་བ་ལྟར།
སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྒྱུ་དང་དེ་འགོག་པ་དང་དེ་བཞིན་ལམ། ཤེས་བྱ་སྤང་བྱ་རེག་པར་བྱ་ཞིང་བསྟེན་པར་བྱ།
The sickness is to be known, the cause of the sickness to be abandoned,
Happily abiding is to be attained, and the medicine to be taken.
Similarly, suffering, cause, its cessation, and likewise the path
Are to be known, abandoned, contacted, and cultivated.

རིན་ཆེན་ནམ་མཁའ་ཆུ་དག་བཞིན། རྟག་ཏུ་རང་བཞིན་ཉོན་མོངས་མེད།
Just like a treasure, the sky, and water,
Its nature is always free from afflictions.

བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཚུལ་འདི་ནི། རྗེས་ཐོབ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་རྣམས་དང་།
སེམས་ཅན་ཡང་དག་སྒྲོལ་བ་ལ། འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་ནི་མཉམ་པ་ཉིད།
This mode of these Bodhisattvas
In subsequent attainment,
Is the same as the Tathagatas
With respect to completely liberating sentient beings.

དེ་ལྟར་མོད་ཀྱི་ས་རྡུལ་དང་། རྒྱ་མཚོ་བ་གླང་རྨིག་རྗེས་ཀྱི།
ཁྱད་པར་གང་ཡིན་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཁྱད་དེ་ཉིད།
Although that is the case,
The difference between the earth and an atom
Or the ocean and an ox's hoofprint,
Is the difference between Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
