ལྕེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་དམིགས་རྐྱེན་བྱེད་པའི་རིགས་སུ་གནས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་ཕྱེ་བའི་ཕྱིའི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་དུ་དམིགས་པ། རོའི་སྐྱེ་མཆེད་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
Definition: That observed as an external-source distinguished by abiding in the class of acting as the observed-object condition of the tongue-consciousness.

དོན་ལྔའི་ནང་ཚན་གྱི་རོ་དང་དོན་གཅིག
This and taste that is a subdivision of the five objects are mutually inclusive.

Divisions (6): དབྱེ་ན་དྲུག་ཡོད་དེ།

• Sweet and sour མངར་སྐྱུར་གཉིས།
• Hot and salty ཚ་བ་ལན་ཚ་བ་གཉིས།
• Bitter and astringent ཁ་བ་བསྐ་བ་གཉིས་སུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
